Our Family Support Worker will work directly with children in need and their families in the community in order to promote, strengthen and to develop the potential of parents/carers and children. They will be an integral part of the safeguarding team and support our pupils with Send and their families.
Our Family Support Worker will liaise closely with our community to become a champion for early help for families to access the support required to aid their child’s development, health & wellbeing.
Do you have:
• Evidence of good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills?
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills?
• Experience of working with children and families – preferably in a school environment?
• An understanding of the skills required to support young children's learning?
• The desire to make a difference to the lives of our pupils and families, especially those with Special Educational Needs?
