The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 660 pupils on roll. Following our Ofsted inspection in May 2017, we were shown to be “Good with Outstanding features”, a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities, which really set us apart in the locality.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated non- teaching Head of Year to our Pastoral Team. You will be a dynamic and motivational individual, with the ambition to consistently challenge yourself to be a successful leader of students, no matter what should arise. You will provide highly effective pastoral care to your year group and promote and secure a culture of high expectations for all students. You will also co-ordinate all aspects of learning, behaviour and the development of students within the year group to ensure that all students are supported to become confident and successful individuals at TQEA. in the wider community and beyond. As a school, we will offer you strong CPD, with career development opportunities at the forefront of our minds.
